Weds 25th Feb 7:30pm - Nicola Wilson, Born Green Generation

Nicola Wilson is an experienced paediatric nurse with a background in neurosciences, having worked across multiple hospital settings. Over the past decade, she has worked as a clinical educator, becoming a qualified teacher and embracing the practical aspects of the role—from facilitating bedside learning to leading a team of educators across Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Nicola is a key leader of the Born Green Project—a movement supported by Healthcare Without Harm. This initiative aims to protect babies’ health and development during their first 1,000 days by reducing single-use plastics and toxic chemicals in maternity and paediatric units across Europe and beyond.

Thurs 19th March 7:30pm- Professor Hugh Montgomery, Real Zero

Hugh co-chaired the two Lancet Commissions on Human Health & Climate Change and now the 42-country Lancet Countdown on Health & Climate Change. He’s written & lectured extensively on the subject; has briefed policymakers (inter)nationally; & co-founded the UCL MSc module on climate & health. He has been awarded the OBE in part for his climate work. He is currently the Director of an organisation called Real Zero and will be speaking to us about their 7 Acts.

Weds April 15th 7:30pm - Corrina Bebbington, Public Health Registrar

Corrina Bebbington is a public health registrar, based in Yorkshire. She has a depth of public health experience at local, regional, national and international levels across a variety of organisations working around health improvement, health protection, and healthcare public health. She is committed to improving, promoting and protecting the health of populations, particularly the most unequal in our society.
